Sanaa was the sunshine in our lives. She was the eldest grand
daughter of the Nulwala family, the best daughter Lubaina and I
could've asked for, and the most incredible younger sister to
Aamir.
Her aunts, uncles, and cousins loved her and she loved them
back deeply. There are many incredible things about Sanaa, but
one of the ones we know she'll be remembered for always is
playing the role of an older cousin brilliantly. She juggled
sneaking them out for late night ice cream · movies
· being their personal stylist, and simultaneously
sharing the most honest advice beautifully.
Her friends always knew Sanaa would be there for them. Trips
made it out of the group chat because of her. And when she was
on one, nobody else had to worry about finding the hidden
secrets of a city: their best dining spots. Her dad knows this
because Sanaa never had to ask him what to order for himself.
She just…always knew.
Sanaa was talented and my goodness, so creative. We still
wonder where she got that from. She was and will always be
one of one for us and Lenny, her puppy. Her life and light
was a gift to everyone who knew her. There was never a dull
moment with her in a room. All we know is that we now share
the gift of her love and light with a new universe.
